At Future Help Designs we often speak of the reasons why we develop for the Apple® iOS platform. The two primary reasons are the security and the intuitive design that the iOS platform provides. Apple’s approval process provides for security levels that innately protect consumers data. That same approval process makes for some great working and looking apps as well.
So why is intuitive design and security important? The less you have to invest in training costs to teach your users on how to use your software the better. In a corporate environment you also want to protect your corporate data.

John Packjowski of All Things Digital reported Apples mobile device adoption rate in relation to ActiveSync hosting as compared to Android, Palm, and Windows Mobile. Within the enterprise model Apple’s mobile platform register at 61% (iPhone) and 98% (iPad).
